It is our pleasure to offer these skill building workshops to give students a confidence boost and a mental refresher so that they can enter the school year ahead of the curve. Every student can benefit from such an opportunity so it is our pleasure to offer the half-day camps (a $270 value) absolutely free! Village Tutoring has found that students who move or use their hands while learning understand the material more fully and enjoy their education. This translates into better results when students are tested and gives each child the desire to learn more. During our Math Skills and Study Skills Development Workshops students will be guided through fun activities and unique learning experiences that will stick with them longer than any repetitive chalkboard style memorization.

All tutors go through a thorough approval process so you can rest assured that your student is safe.

a) 4th-6th Grade — Math Skills Development
Build new math skills and polish up your old ones so that you are at the head of the class to start the year. Topics include multiplication, long division, number lines, fractions, percentages and pre-algebra!
b) 6th-8th Grade — Study Skills Development
Save time on homework and get better test scores by learning how to prepare and focus well. Strategies include note taking and review, organization, test prep habits and more!
